My next commission – a gorgeous little, oval bedroom chair… soon restored to its former, fully-functional glory.

My first ever commission from Glasgow Guild was this Arts and Crafts chair from Liberty, London. I re-caned the seat in may 2016.

Over the last year or so I have been moonlighting as the in-house furniture caner at the Glasgow Guild (a rather gorgeous furniture upholstery and restoration workshop here in Glasgow)… Thought I might just share a little bit of what I get up to there – a few retrospective posts to follow…
